At our facility in Hardenberg (96 FTE, 25M euro turnover), we produce customer-specific Human-Machine-Interfaces (HMIs) solutions for demanding applications with a team of specialists and advanced machinery.

We are looking for a Financial Controller with a completed, relevant college education and a hands-on mentality. You have strong business acumen and deliver high quality, timely and accurate work. You have analytical talent and critical thinking skills, and can quickly identify and solve problems. Proactivity and independence are second nature to you, where you can fall back on expertise from head office and colleagues locally and internationally. You also have a good command of the English language, and preferably German as well. Knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage.
At SCHURTER, it's all about making the most of your experience and talents. As a Professional Finance & Control, you are responsible for correct, complete and timely administration based on the SCHURTER Group's financial policy.
You act as the central point of contact for internal and external parties, such as auditors, banks and insurance companies, and supervise IT and automation.
You lead projects aimed at improvements and provide timely, accurate management information and reports. You also draw up budgets and forecasts and take care of the monthly, quarterly and annual closures. You ensure that financial administrative declarations, such as tax returns, annual accounts and CBS returns, are carried out flawlessly. Business control for the production location is also part of the job, for which you carry out in-depth analyses.
You also play an important role in preparing investment requests and annual accounts, working closely with the accountant. Finally, you manage insurance, leasing and subsidies, making sure everything complies with the applicable laws and regulations.
