Climate protection efforts approved
The efforts that SCHURTER AG undertakes voluntarily and out of conviction for sustainable climate protection have been confirmed and approved by the EnAW with a certificate.
The Energy Agency of the Economy (EnAW) was founded by the supporting associations of the Swiss economy. It stands for cooperation between the state and the economy to achieve energy and climate policy goals. The main aim is to reduce Switzerland's CO2 emissions.
Target agreement exceeded
A company that wants to be certified by the EnAW concludes a target agreement with the agency for several years. SCHURTER has done this on 17.6.2020 for the years 2020 to 2029. Here, targets for energy savings as well as targets for the reduction of CO2 emissions are specified.
From 2020 to 2021, SCHURTER has converted and expanded its headquarters in Lucerne, relying on state-of-the-art technologies. As a result, the targets agreed with the EnAW have already been exceeded by far.
