Parents' Day at SCHURTER AG

Get to know trainers and coaches personally, take a look behind the scenes of their children's working environment, understand the company and its tasks: This is exactly what parents and vocational trainers at SCHURTER AG in Lucerne did on January 12, 2024 as part of the annual Parents' Day.

On January 12, 2024, SCHURTER AG held its annual Parents' Day for its 1st semester apprentices. A welcome by the responsible vocational trainer, Bernhard Häcki, was followed by a tour of the young people's individual training places, during which they each gave a short report on their experiences during their first few months at their new workplace.

It is a major concern of SCHURTER to reassure parents that their children are receiving a first-class education and that they can turn to the supervisors at any time if necessary. The event was met with great interest from parents, which also showed the trainees how important the coming years are for their personal development and future.

Bernhard Häcki, Head Vocational Training, on this year's Parents' Day at SCHURTER AG: "For me and the other vocational trainers, Parents' Day is an important occasion to present our company as a vocational training center and to give parents an insight into the activities of their daughters and sons, the apprentices in their first semester. The concluding drinks reception also provided an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand from the parents how the start of the apprenticeship went at home and how they perceive the apprentices themselves."
