There is a limitation in the thickness of the cover lens glass. Normally our touchscreens are suitable to operate through 1mm – 10mm thick glass. For thicker glass, a special sensor design might be applicable.

Ceramic printed glass burns in the ink into the glass surface. This glass is suitable for extreme environmental conditions like outdoor.

Competences

A resistive touchscreen is based on a mechanical switching principle, two transparent conductive materials are pressed on each other for electrical contact and position. A capacitive touchscreen is based change of a capacitance value created by the operator's finger. The location of capacitance change will determine the touch position.
